About me

Lovely Reuben came to us as his owner was moving abroad and could not afford to take him with them, they were very upset to give him up and came to us so that we could find him a new loving home.

He was originally a stray, about 9 years ago, who turned up at our cattery - we took him in and rehomed him, and back then he was a shy cat who would hide all of the time.

Reuben is now more confident with people, although he can be aloof at times, and he spends all of his day out and about in his pen, not hiding like he did originally. We are happy to rehome him to a family with childen around 10 years and over, as this is what he is used to, but new owners must be prepared to take on a cat who may take a while to really settle into his new home, maybe months until he really feels at home. He is best as the only pet in his new home too.

He is a really nice boy and deserves a loving new home, just like his previous one.

Our adoption teams will search through applications to find potential matches that meet all of the animals individual needs. They may contact you to discuss the adoption process and your application in more detail.

Millbrook regrettably is unable to keep a waiting list. However we are able to keep your application for up to 3 months to hopefully try to match you with another animal.
