About me
Meet Ninja, the most handsome cat in the cattery (even though we're not meant to have favourites!) - he has been at Millbrook for so long now and we have not had any applications for him unfortunately.
Ninja was abandoned when his owner moved home, he was left behind along with a group of other cats and animals and he was ever so scared of us and his new environment. Over time he has settled into cattery life, and although he is still not so sure on us, he is such a good boy when we need to do his health checks and we just know that he will settle into a new home with people who respect him and give him space and time.
Ninja no longer runs from us (he was so scared at first that he would climb up the bars to get away from the staff and volunteers), he has learnt to trust a select few people and he now sits and listens to us as we talk to him and read to him, he's not quite ready to take treats from us, but he's on the verge of doing this, and we'll be super excited when he makes this next baby step towards bonding with us.
Ninja is in need of a new home with people who have plenty of time to give him, with people who will be really patient with him, and with people who will also not expect too much from him - he may well settle into home life immediately, but on the other hand, he may take months to settle - we don't know, but we do know that he deserves a loving home after what he's been through. We think it will be so rewarding to take on Ninja and to watch him slowly become used to family life. So please fill in a form in you think you can offer him what he needs, and we can call you for a chat about him and arrange for you to come and meet him - he will probably stay in his favourite hiding spot, but at least you'll be able to see in real life just how stunning he is.
Our adoption teams will search through applications to find potential matches that meet all of the animals individual needs. They may contact you to discuss the adoption process and your application in more detail.
Millbrook regrettably is unable to keep a waiting list. However we are able to keep your application for up to 3 months to hopefully try to match you with another animal.
