About me

Petal is in a foster home, please send in an application form and we can arrange for you to visit her.

Sweet girl Petal came into our care when her owner sadly had to go into hospital and was no longer able to look after her.

Petal was so shy when she came to us and wasn't settling in the cattery, so we sent her to a foster home with one of our volunteers.

Although she is still a timid cat, she has done really well in her foster home. She does enjoy spending time with her foster mum, and she will take treats from her as well, although she is still not so keen on being stroked. She is however, super playful!! She loves to play with toys, and she will do this with her foster mum, but she really comes alive in the evenings, she can be heard tearing round her room chasing her toys and having tonnes of fun!

Petal's new owner must be willing to put lots of effort into helping her come out of her shell but at the same time give her the space and time she needs to settle back into family life - we are sure that with the right family Petal will do really well and learn to trust and love people again.

Petal would do best in a quiet home with adults only, although we will consider older children to the right family. She could possibly live with another cat, an older, social one, but she is better off without dogs in the home as this scares her.
