About me
Daisy came to us after she was living in a car with 4 other dogs and 5 cats. She was extremely nervous when he came to us and it has taken her the longest to come around to us. Once Daisy is bonded with you, she is over attached to you, and can be very full on.
Daisy is still be worried by unfamiliar people and can be very scared when worried, so she is looking for a quiet home that will give her the time to come around at her own pace and let her grow in confidence. Daisy is looking for a home that has experience with owning small dogs, ideally nervous dogs. She needs to live in an adult only home as she has no experience of children and due to her shy nature, children would worry her. As Daisy is nervous, she will need to meet potential adopters a few times, so that she can get to know them before going to her new home.
Daisy is ok with dogs, but can be vocal and get aroused around other dogs at times, so at this point she would be better as an only dog, but will need sensible continued socialisation with other dogs and may down the line be able to live with a suitable dog.. Daisy is only 8 months old so she will need a home that can give him plenty of exercise. Once a lot more confidence she would also benefit from attending some reward based classes, but that will be down the line once Daisy is more confident with unfamiliar people.
We are not sure if Daisy has lived in a house so she may need housetraining and car travel training. She will also need someone based at home to begin with and then will need a gradual build up to being left. Daisy will also need help with day-to-day life and the noises and movements that happen in a home and when out and about because she does not have much experience with this. As Daisy is nervous she will need to stay on the lead, so will need direct access to her own secure private garden with at least 5ft fencing. Daisy will need to live on a quiet road that does not have a lot of traffic and people going past.
If you could offer Daisy the home, she needs then please send in an application form.
